The Bookbinding honor originally had a black silhouette on a red background. The [[AY Honors/Vocational|Vocational]] category was once completely retired and labeled as antique. During this time, the patches were produced with a gray background. This is the example seen here with Bookbinding. The Vocational category was brought back after a large outcry and the designs are now back to a red background.
